What an amazing experience for the whole family. The owner Marg who is also the guide was absolutely great to travel with, she was so accommodating and a wealth of knowledge of behind the scenes and parliament house. Marg customised our tour specifically to us and when I told her we had veterans in our family, she made sure The War Memorial was included on the tour as well as laying the wreath. We have 3 young children, and it was a fabulous tour for every one of us no matter our age. It was something our family will never forget. If you are on the fence re going on a private tour, don't hesitate a minute longer because this was one of the highlights of our travels. This company is fabulous at communication as well. They picked us up and dropped us off right at our Accommodation and the car was comfortable and clean. Thanks so much Marg we highly recommend.

An excellent day! Martial worked with us to design a bespoke tour of the town we live in. She made it interesting, educational and fun. She added tidbits of information about Parliment House, many embassies and the National War Memorial. The day was well planned, we would never had known that high tea was an option at Parliment House, but it is and it was a great experience with a wonderful view We highly recommend Canberra Secrets and Marg as a way to learn about this lovely city

I expected a lot from this tour as the price was exorbitant. But the tour did not reflect the price. The commentary was hum drum, a lot of it was common knowledge. No secrets leapt out. It might work for some, if you're happy with mediocrity. But if you want a captivating, compelling tour led by an enthusiastic guide, this is not the tour for you.

I really enjoyed the tour with Marg recently. We visited the Parliament House which was so interesting, particularly some of the incredible art pieces. We then took a quick tour of the old Parliament House which was not on the original itinerary but as this building holds personal importance to me, Marg managed to fit this in, which was very much appreciated. The day finished with the very moving last post ceremony at the Australian War Memorial, which was icing on the cake! Canberra has loads of interesting things to see, so I cannot think of a better way to see it all!

Marg was an excellent guide, we were so impressed with our first tour that we booked another a few days later. Marg showed us places we wouldn't have seen otherwise, even if we had had a car, and her knowledge of Canberra was comprehensive. We'd recommend her to anyone visiting Canberra. This amazing tour gave far more than I ever expected. The fascinating and quirky tales of behind the scenes at Parliament House and Old Parliament House. The moving stories and ceremony at the Australian War Memorial. The wonderful views from Mt Ainslie - and the history behind the name. I thought I knew a bit about Canberra but Marg showed how much more there is to discover - even for a local. Her deep knowledge of Canberra and its people, past and present, gives a vibrancy to her tour that I haven't come across before. Don't miss it - even if you think you know it all.

Marg shared her knowledge on the city and the region. The tour was interesting, informative and interactive. We had a mix of locals and interstate visitors in our work group. The tour was enjoyable for both groups. It was a nice way to finish our planning day by getting out and walking around and learning about the city we were in.

Marg Wade was lovely, and shared lots of Canberra secrets, including history, fun facts and we saw parts of the city that we didn't know existed. There were some lovely ladies on the tour that we hadn't met before and Marg managed to bring us all together and make it an enjoyable experience for all of us.
